Who we are
TITUS was started in 2011 as an educational advocacy group dedicated to ensuring quality education for historically marginalized youth. Guided by a historical model that honors African American pedagogical and justice-oriented practices, TITUS works with community members school leaders, teachers, parents, and students to address contemporary issues in urban education and support students’ contemporary issues in urban education and support students’ intellectual, social, and emotional growth.
